Kyle Bolte Obituary
Kyle was born in Towson, MD, February 10, 1987 to Brooks and Cathy Bolte. He is survived by his parents, sisters Stephanie Frankel (Rich) and Kendall Harrell, nieces and nephew Nora and Henry Frankel and Finley Harrell, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kyle spent the majority of his youth in Frederick, MD and graduated from Gov. Thomas Johnson High School in 2005. He worked various jobs in the food and service industry until he found his passion in the craft beer brewing industry. He secured a position in the tap room at Flying Dog and was shortly promoted to Tap Room Manager. While at Flying Dog, he crafted a recipe for a beer that was produced for a limited release. "Dark and Stormy Ale" was released on March 11, 2017 and sold out that day.
Kyle moved on to Jailbreak Brewery of Laurel, MD and was quickly promoted to Front of House General Manager. He oversaw customer facing duties as well as managed the beverage staff. Kyle's outgoing and friendly personality was a perfect fit for the position. He was a very dedicated worker throughout his career and took full responsibility in providing a superior customer experience no matter what it took. His leadership and positive attitude provided excellent examples to the staff that reported to him and was appreciated by the ownership.
Kyle was an enthusiastic Orioles and Ravens fan. He especially enjoyed the Christmas season and was known for his ugly sweaters and frequently had ornaments attached to his beard. He loved pickup trucks and had several memorable vehicles over his life. He had a large Lego car collection. He had started training on getting his pilot's license and thoroughly enjoyed flying. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at Jailbreak Brewing Company in Laurel, MD on Saturday, January 6th at 11AM.

The first time I met Kyle, I was intimidated by him. He was so serious in his work, and always held us up to his high standards which seemed difficult to meet when first starting out. I quickly learned he was the complete opposite: a loveable, passionate, loyal, supportive, and funny dude who just wanted to make sure everyone loved beer as much as he did. May we all have that same kind of passion. Thinking of his family during this difficult time. Miss you already, Kyle.
