Kyle Jacob Dumont

It is with great sadness that the family of Kyle (Scott) Dumont announces his passing on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the age of 38 years, in Calgary, Alberta. He was the outgoing and talented brother of Crystal Cardinal, Gloria Cardinal (Bob Fitzgerald), Roberta Cardinal (Tony Spotted Eagle) and Deacon Scott. Kyle helped his sister Crystal raise Leelyne Cardinal, Tristen Pantherbone and Mikalean Pantherbone, who he took as his own children. He was predeceased by his mother Cheryl Dumont, and fathers Paul Scott and Robert Dumont; uncle Lionel Dumont, nieces Kaylee Crowchild and Sarita Cardinal; brother Zackery Giroux and grandmother Rita Dumont.
Kyle was a handsome, outgoing, free spirit. Everyone who knew Kyle, knew he was very caring and helpful and that he liked to make people laugh and smile.
The Wake will begin January 26, 2024 at 10:00 am at 2712 - 41 Street SE. The Funeral Service will be held at Pierson's Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
