Kyle Devin Edwards, born on August 13, 1995, in Louisville, Kentucky, left this world on March 16, 2025, in Clarksville, Indiana. He was a talented and passionate individual who made a meaningful impact on all who knew him.
Kyle was devoted to his career at Ford Motor Company, where he dedicated nine years of service. His commitment to excellence and hard work were apparent in every endeavor he undertook. Beyond his professional life, Kyle was known for his many hobbies and interests that brought him joy and fulfillment. He had a profound love for a wide range of music, showcasing his talent as a guitarist and drummer. His artistic spirit was further displayed in his achievements as an Eagle Scout with Troop 56.
An avid motorcyclist, Kyle embraced the thrill of the open road, often finding solace in nature's beauty. His passion for outdoor activities underscored his love for adventure and the great outdoors, allowing him to connect with the world around him.
Kyle is survived by his significant other, Destiny Gentry, and his beloved daughter, Evelynn Rose Edwards. He was a cherished son to his mother, Angela Edwards, and stepfather, David Houston. His siblings played a vital role in his life, including his sister, Mikayla Davis and her partner Zeb, his brother, Brendan Houston, as well as his step-siblings, Chris Houston and Lacey Houston. Kyle held a special place in the hearts of his grandparents, Jack and Donna Edwards, and Marcus Shaw and Connie Carswell, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever remember his kindness and vibrant spirit.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Michael J. Edwards, and his step-grandmother, Pamela Shaw, both of whom are now cherished in the memories of those he loved.
A visitation for Kyle will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY, 40243. Following the service on Friday, Kyle will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be contributed to his daughter's future education. Donations can be sent to the family or to the funeral home.
Kyle leaves behind a legacy of love, music, and adventure that will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His daughter, Evelynn, was his greatest joy in life.
