FREMONT - Kyle J. Kruger, 36 years, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, in Fremont, NE.
He was born May 26, 1987, in Fremont, to Jeff Kruger and Michelle Mahoney. Kyle worked for General Excavating in Lincoln. He enjoyed being outdoors while deer hunting and fishing.
If you knew Kyle, you were lucky. His chains are gone, he's been set free. Fly high my beautiful son, until we meet again . . .
Kyle is survived by his mother, Michelle (Doug) Cash of Fremont; father, Jeff (Lea) Kruger of Portland, MO; sister, Kindra Kruger of Fremont; nieces: Mercedes, and Sahmiya; nephews: Oliver and Presley; grandmother, Judy Kruger; and many step-siblings, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bonnie and Dave Mahoney; and grandfather, Gary Kruger.
Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Eagles Club in Fremont.

Kyle had such a kind, strong spirit. Big heart, good listener and a good friend. He was there for me in some dark times to make me smile. I remember when we were in treatment together, he stuck up for me a couple times and I will never forget that. It meant a lot to me. I felt like a little sister even though I am older lol. I will miss you friend.
