Kyle, You are greatly missed down here, but we know you are watching down from above. I remember when we first met in school and I thought you had the best smile. Every time I'd see you smile it would make me smile too. Some days it was just what I needed. You didn't even know but you were making days better just by being who you are and smiling all the time. I want to thank you for that. It made high school just a little more bearable. Thank you for serving your country and giving your life so that we all can smile and say we were proud to know you and call you friend. If we can all just be like you and smile more the world can be a happier place. We love you and miss you! Say hi to Bobby for me and the two of you keep watch over the rest of us still left down here. We know you'll be waiting for us when we come to join you. Semper Fi Marine! You are loved and missed!

I met Kyle shortly before he started being a bouncer at Nicks nightclub here in Virginia. He had an infectious smile and always stood up for those who needed it. He was an absolutely amazing person, and an even better Marine. There is a memorial frame on display at Nicks in Kyles honor so that nobody will ever forget the sacrifice he made. We miss you Kyle!

Kyle, Although we never had the opportunity to meet you we've heard so many wonderful stories about you. You have been such an inspiration to our son and the subject of many of his memories and stories that he tells us of his deployment, I really like the one he tells where he steals your thin mint girl scout cookies, every time I see a box I think of you and smile. I know he wouldn't of wanted any other leader than you. He knew that you were always there for all of them. You will forever remembered and always honored.

Kyle, we first met you in DC while you and Eric were stationed at 8th and I. We had the pleasure of having dinner with you and your parents. I remember how well we all clicked, it was such a great, relaxing night. We felt like we had known you all for years and not just from that moment. I wish we had more time with you. From that day you became part of our family. Your smile and laugh will be forever etched in our hearts. Thank you for being such a good friend to Eric, for sharing the good times with him. I know he misses you too. Keep watching over your family and always stay by their side. Until we all meet again. Thank you, may you rest in peace. With love, the Sloan-Rusack Family of MA

Kyle, first I must tell you how very much I miss you. The bear hugs, the huge, beautiful smile, that confidence. Those 23 short years, what you accomplished and what a tremendous impact you made. Now we are left with a huge mission We must remember that each day IS a new beginning, treat everyone with compassion and never fear what awaits us. Because of you, and so many others, we know that freedom is not free and that we must always be thankful for all of you brave souls that fought and fight for our freedom. Rest In Peace, my dear grandson, and always remember that you will always be missed and never forgotten. Tons of Love, Grandma S.

One of the many things we loved most about you, Kyle, was your smile... it was always there. We especially remember it the day you, your Dad, and Kevin put up the bird house at the corner of the church garden. You two boys were so excited. Thanks for the sweet memory, Kyle, Rich, and Kevin.

To the Schneider Family: Lorie, Rick, and Kevin. Today is Veterans Day. Returning to our little town back in August, I learned of Kyle. Today, and for the passed week, I have been thinking of him. You were, and still are, (Lorie) my friend. I thought today would be an appropriate day to send you this message. It is my hope that you still read this guest book from time to time. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful and brave being into this world. May God bless him. With much love, Linda (Stormes) Bianco, Jeremy, and Veronica.

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your son's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses and what they would like to receive. We will send them as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved one who died serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address, as our organization can no longer get family contacts through the military. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

Kyle was a friend that I never had the chance to meet. I knew him through his Uncle Zadin. I am proud to say that I have a connection with such a fine Marine that fiercely protected and served this country.
I cannot fathom the feelings that Kyle’s family and close friends are experiencing. But please know that many people he never met love him and miss him, and are praying for his loved ones.
My deepest sympathy to the people Kyle loved.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. I truly feel your loss and pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Kyle will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn’t make it home.
I know you’re in God’s presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you .
I Salute You.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Cpl. Schneider, and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of freedom and liberty. Sadly, America has lost one of its finest heroes, the U.S. has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage, which they will love and respect forever. Today, because of the sacrifice Cpl. Schneider has made, the house of freedom is stronger, sturdier, and more secure.
To the family and friends, of Cpl. Schneider, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to carry on. Just as you were always with him when he was deployed overseas, know that he will always be with you wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Cpl. Schneider was a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
"Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid, they have earned our undying gratitude. America will never, ever forget their sacrifices."
Cpl. Schneider the flag of the United States of America has your blood sewn into the fabric; it shall wave forever in your honor.

I wish I had the right words to say at this time, but I know there are none. I grieve for the loss of your beloved son and I know that I cannot fathom the pain you must be feeling. Your son will not be forgotten and what he did to help protect our homeland and our freedoms. It was his life that made him a Hero. It was his noble path that made him an American Hero. It was his ultimate sacrifice that made him a Fallen Hero. May God carry him to Heaven on His precious wings and give him a palace to live in. I pray that our Heavenly Father above will grace you with His love, His comfort and His peace. Heaven's Gates now has a new handsome Marine standing guard. Amen.

Schneider Family - My prayer is this poem I wrote will comfort you. It is: FALLEN HEROES - From the time I was conceived God had for me a plan. He wanted me to get involved to help my fellow man. I know some were against it but God knows what is best. Since the time he took me home I've had perfect rest. Heaven is so beautiful I'm walking streets of gold. Now I'm serving others including saints of old. I know some still have anger about the way I died but God and I both have seen the many tears you've cried. As difficult as it may be please don't hold a grudge. Remember this my loved ones God alone will judge. Then on that resurrection day when all the dead will rise the Lord will reunite us together in the skies. Please don't be sad and mourn for me I'm doing what I love; serving God and watching you from his throne above.
Thank you Kyle for your service.
