Kyle Schar

It is with great sadness that the family of Kyle "Buff" Schar announce his passing. He left us to be with our Lord on Friday the 14th of June at the age of 36. Kyle was born October 31, 1987 in Fargo, ND and graduated from West Fargo High School. He was an avid gamer and a fantastic chef, cooking for many restaurants in the Fargo area and Riverdale, ND where he currently resided. But more importantly, Kyle was a loving and devoted father to his 6-year-old daughter, a loving and caring son and brother. He was a very down-to-earth, gentle soul who made friends easily.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Kurt Schar (Fargo, ND); grandparents Ronald and Dorothy DuBord (Fargo, ND), Sanford "John" Schar (West Fargo, ND), and Jacqueline (Schar) West (Lombard, IL).
He is survived by his mother, Sally (Schar) Rutten and his stepfather Bob Rutten (Riverdale, ND); his sister Amanda Schar (Fargo, ND); his sweet daughter, Mara Rhea Schar (Langdon, ND); his grandma Kate Schar (Bemidji, MN); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation: Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.
Service: Saturday, June 29, at 2:00 p.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
Burial: Mapleton Cemetery, Mapleton, North Dakota.
