Robert Paul King

Robert Paul King, age 76, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. He was born on January 18, 1950 in Fargo North Dakota and was raised in Casselton North Dakota , and lived a life defined by dedication to his family, a love for golf, and an unwavering loyalty to those around him.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother Uncle and friend who brought both guidance and humor into the lives of those who knew him. Whether he was reminding someone to clean their room or sharing the endless knowledge he had gathered over the years, Robert had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was deeply loved and respected by family and friends alike.

A passionate golfer, Rob spent countless hours on the course enjoying the game he loved. He also proudly cheered on his favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings, rarely missing an opportunity to watch or talk about football with family and friends.

Rob had a lasting career working for Carl Pohlad the owner of the Minnesota Twins. Robert was so proud of his positions as were his family for his professional accomplishments.

Rob was preceded in death by his beloved son, Christopher Lee King; his granddaughter, Michaela Lauren King; his brothers,Mike King, Stephen "Tut" King , and Mark King; his father, Robert Lee King; and his mother, Dolores King.

He is survived by his loving wife, Helen King; his son, Jason King; his daughter-in-law, Crystal King; and his cherished grandchildren, Damien King and Abigail King and his sister Eileen King. His family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in watching them grow and succeed.

Robs legacy will live on through the memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts.

Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.

Celebration follows the service at 1:15pm at the Lookout Bar and Grill 8672 Pineview Lane N. Maple Grove, MN 55369
