Kyle I miss you so much. You were an awesome son and I am so sorry I couldn’t protect you on that tragic day. There is not a day that goes by that has made this any easier. My heart and body ache with a pain I never knew existed. I miss all of our good times and will always love you son! Until we meet againDad

I am devastated to hear this news. Kyle was one of the greats! He was one of my favorite students of all time. Brittanie is also one of my favorites. I cannot imagine the loss and pain his family is experiencing right now. I send you all love and light.

2 days before his tragic accident - we bought 2 small toy cars while at the checkout line at Lowes that were replicas of his and I truck (Kyles - white ram 1500 and mine - a black ram 1500). It was something so small and stupid at the time but it will be a memory i cherish forever!

I also was also Kyle and Brittanie's gym teacher in high school. To hear of this news and to find who was involved was devastating. I enjoy looking at the pictures posted on FB of their beautiful children and the happy life Kyle and Brittanie created. I can't imagine how to manage this nightmare. Knowing what a handful Kyle was as a freshman during class and then seeing him mature into a respectful, wonderful young man while advancing through ROTC was rewarding. He would pop into the doors of the gym, while in the halls, to say hello as I sent him on way back to class. I always had a special place for him and was happy to see him with Brittanie and create their family together. To see another young former Sterling student pass away before their time has been happening much too soon. Many prayers and hugs to all as you try to understand why.

My heart was broken when I heard of this tragic news. I was Kyle and Brittanie´s Guidance Counselor in high school and I remember them fondly. Kyle kept me on my toes for sure, but came back two years after graduation to show me himself in uniform and to tell me how great he was doing. I will never forget how proud I was of him that day! I still have Kyle´s picture hanging on my bulletin board in my office. I am so, so, so sorry for the loss of this great man. It truly breaks my heart to think of what his family must be going through. It just isn´t fair. Please know I am here if you need anything .....you are all in my thoughts and prayers for sure.
