L. Dean Tunnicliff, 67, of Canton, husband of Debra (Brown) Tunnicliff, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, January 1, 2024. Lonnie Dean was born June 10, 1957, in Hamburg, NY, a son of Virginia (Collins) Johnston and the late Joseph Tunnicliff. He was employed by Northern Tier Solid Waste until his retirement.
Dean enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music and watching movies, especially westerns with Clint Eastwood.
Dean leaves behind his mother; Virginia Johnston, wife; Debra Tunnicliff, children; Derek Tunnicliff, Jackie Walker, Jessica Grover, and Blaze Tunnicliff, several grandchildren, sister; Diane Muszynski, special friend; Donald Williams, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his father, Dean was predeceased by a sister; Linda Wood.
Services to honor Dean's life will be announced at a later date. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pepper Funeral Home to help his family pay his final expenses.
