LaDeane Lee Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 15, 2025.
Catherine LaDeane Lee, 99, passed away September 9, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
LaDeane was born February 25, 1926, to James and Dorothy (Moorehead) Hartman, who preceded her in death. On September 9, 1943, she married the love of her life, Junior Lee Sr., who preceded her in death in 2007.
LaDeane worked as a clothing saleswoman at Ruth's Dress Shop, Madison's and Leader Store, among others in Lima, for many years. She and her husband started up the "Cozy Club" where they enjoyed traveling, dining, attending shows and playing games with their friends. After retirement, LaDeane and Junior wintered in Bradenton, Florida where she enjoyed spending time with friends. She was an immaculate house keeper and she took pride in her clean home. Later in life, she enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles with her daughter. Most of all, LaDeane loved spending time with her family, especially playing dominos and Uno.
She is survived by her children, Junior L. (Janet) Lee, Jr. and Dorothy (Kenneth) Cramer; grandchildren, Dena (Brett) Hite, Debra Lashaway, Lynda (Scott) DeBeruhl of North Carolina and David (Elizabeth) Lee of Boston; granddaughter-in-law, Holly Lee; great-grandchildren, Kenneth "KJ" (Taylor) Lashaway, Kevin (Bre) Hite, Brandon (Nicole) Lashaway, Kristina Hite, Zoey Lee, Autumn Lee, Dylan Lee and Owen Lee; great-great-grandchildren, Madison Lashaway, Mason Lashaway, Avery Hite, Nolan Culbertson and one great-great-grandchild on the way; sister, Betty Davidson and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, LaDeane is preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Lee; sister, Hazel (Glen) Smeed and her brother, Richard (Wilma Jean) Hartman.
Graveside service will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Lori Wright to officiate the service.
