LaDonna Arlene Rogers was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma, on December 25, 1944. Her birth was a beloved Christmas gift to her parents, Walter Dale Rogers and Opal Aretta (Raxter) Rogers. On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, LaDonna was called Home to Heaven at the age of 78.
LaDonna was a warm, social, loving, and free-spirited lady whose family and friends describe as "the sweetest, most generous, accepting and non-judgmental person on Earth". Always staying completely true to herself, LaDonna lived her life with grace, poise, and humor – she simply loved to laugh and have a good time. From a young age, she had a close relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, and LaDonna absolutely loved going to church, where she sang in the choir and made many friends that were like family to her. A social butterfly at heart, LaDonna loved visiting with pretty much anyone and everyone, and was always her best self when she was surrounded by people she loved. Above all, she was deeply devoted to her family. LaDonna always put her family first and was the perfect example of what a person should be. She was known for her laughter, and it will be carried in our memories eternally. LaDonna's beautiful spirit touched the hearts of many during her lifetime. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to many. She will be very dearly missed.
Preceding LaDonna in death are one brother, Jimmy Rogers, and two nephews, Quentin and Nick Rogers.
Left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, DeDe Whitlock and her husband Derrick Jones, and Kim Moore and her husband Dwight; six grandchildren, Jayce Martinez, Ty Martinez and his girlfriend Bailey, Jarred Mullins, Lindsay and husband Aaron Dinwiddie, Jordan Horton and husband Tiyler, and Dustin Moore and wife Natalie; her great-grandchildren, Elliott Martinez, Mia Jones, Jayden Dinwiddie, Bella Dinwiddie, Liam Moore, Arianna Moore, Braylie Moore, Hayden Horton, Jax Horton, Scottie Mullins, and Haven Brooke Mullins; along with her siblings, Kaye Crawford and husband Shelby, LeRoy Rogers and wife Louise, a sister-in-law, Dianne Rogers, her nieces and nephews, Roger, Melissa, Tonya, Elton, and Shannon, and many more loving extended family and friends.
