Lafayette P Frazier

WATERBURY – Mr. Lafayette Pierre Frazier, age 53, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital. 

 Lafayette was born on June 25th, 1971 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania the son of Joyce Boone and the late Samuel L. Frazier. Lafayette was a lifelong music enthusiast, performing and producing music under the stage name “DJ Laf”. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Lafayette is survived by his mother Joyce and his stepfather, Luewellen Boone; siblings, Nicole Reynolds and Mikhael Frazier; his three nephews, a niece, and his paternal grandmother Bertha Frazier. He was predeceased by his father, Samuel L. Frazier and maternal grandparents, George and Hattie Hardison.

A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Frazier on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Casey’s Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
