Lainey Ray Naberhaus, born at 10:56 a.m. on January 21, 2025, at 28 weeks gestation, and welcomed into this world alongside her twin sister, Wrenley Mae, by her loving parents, Tayten Kline and Michael Naberhaus, at Methodist Women’s Hospital in Elkhorn, Nebraska.
Though Lainey’s time with her family was brief, she was surrounded by endless love and care from her parents, sister, and other family members. After eight precious days with her family, Lainey was peacefully taken into God’s care at 5:47 p.m. on January 29, 2025. While her passing came too soon for all who cherished her, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now in His arms.
Lainey’s memory will forever be carried in the hearts of her mom, Tayten Kline of Schleswig; her dad, Michael Naberhaus of Denison; her twin sister, Wrenley Mae; her grandparents: Sarah (John) Fineran of Schleswig, Troy Kline of Schleswig, and grandma, Tammie Naberhaus of Manning; her great-grandparents: Terry & Nancy Kline of Schleswig and Keith and Debra Fineran of Ida Grove and Dick and Jan Naberhaus of Denison; uncles: Trey and his son, Hoyt, Hayden Fineran and Haxton Fineran all of Schleswig and Jeffery Naberhaus of Carroll; aunt, Tiffany Naberhaus (Trent) and sons: Finley and Gunner of Woodbine; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandma, Phyllis O’Brien; great-grandpa, Don Ray, great grandparents, Jerry and Barb Pierce; and other family members.
She will always be remembered, loved, and missed.
A private family funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig with burial to follow in the Morgan Cemetery. Condolences, memorials, and cards in memory of Lainey are welcomed. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to support a donation in her honor.
