CAMMON, LaKeisha Shanee - age 49 of Flint, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on August 18, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in memory of LaKeisha to debra.org.
LaKeisha was born on July 16, 1976 in Flint, Michigan to George Patrick and Nora Cayton-Cammon. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1994 and although disabled since birth, LaKeisha worked very hard to achieve a quality of life beyond expectations. She enjoyed watching sports and attending art fairs and visiting art museums. LaKeisha also enjoyed traveling and shopping.
Surviving is her daughter, Nadia Turner of Grand Rapids; mother, Nora Cayton-Cammon of Flint; brother, Gregory Cammon of Tampa, FL.; aunts, Beatrice (Andrew) Thompson, Martha Thomas, Octavia Ward, Rosie Matthews, Sharon Wilbon; many cousins also survive. LaKeisha was preceded in death by her father, George Patrick; aunt, Alice Kemp.
