LAMAR

Larmar Gutierrez, 65, went to be with our Lord on Friday, September 26, 2025. She was born on January 7, 1960, to her loving parents, Feliberto and Irma Villarreal Gutierrez. Lamar dedicated her life to caring for others. She took care of her disabled mom and dad till their passing. She took care of children and animals when people needed her the most. She would do laundry, iron and cook for neighbors in need.

She had a passion for taking in strays. She loved animals, sometimes even more than humans. She never knew a mean animal. Animals loved her because they knew how loving and trusting she was. Her warm, generous spirit and loving heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Lamar was an incredible and sacrificing person who left a mark on everyone's heart. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Lamar was preceded in death by her father, Filiberto Gutierrez and her mother, Irma Villarreal Gutierrez; her brother, Erasmo Gutierrez; aunt, Vicki Gutierrez Sanchez and niece, Erika Gutierrez.

She is survived by her brother, Vicente Gutierrez, and his daughter, Ashley Gutierrez of Pensacola, Florida; nephews, Michael Gutierrez of Alice, Texas; Ismael (Lucy) Gonzalez, and their son Mikel Gonzalez, of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Davison and Anna Gutierrez. Her cousins, Martha Saenz, and her daughter, Bonnie and her husband, Ariel and their children Troy and Lexi; Yvette and her children, Issac and Dillian; Laura and her four children. Lamar lovingly raised two remarkable individuals, Tristen Gutierrez and Emma Saenz, as if they were her own grandchildren.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
