Lamar Huff, 81, of Canton, died Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Friday, April 25, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Canton followed by burial in Jackson Cemetery in Flora. Visitation will be held from 6.p.m, to 8 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Canton and will resume at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
A lifelong resident of Madison County, Mr. Huff was born on January 6, 1944, to the late Roy Lee Huff and Ida Huff. He worked as Machinist in the furniture industry for 55 years and Nissan for 5 years before retiring. Mr. Huff enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his shop.
Survivors include his wife of 59 ½ years, Lee Huff of Canton; son Doyle Huff of Canton; Jon Huff and his wife, Christa of Madison; son, Chris Huff of Brandon, MS, and grandson, Hunter Huff of Madison. He is also survived by sisters, Blanch Hopson and Ellie Britton.
