Lamon Godfrey Obituary
Lamon Godfrey, was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 77 years old. He was born on November 27, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Delbert and Erma Godfrey.
Lamon was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and understanding. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more lives that were touched by him. May his memory be a blessing to all of us, and may we carry his legacy of love in all that we do. May his light shine brightly in our hearts.
Lamon (Dad), may you have a glorious family reunion in heaven. You will be in our hearts forever. Until we meet again!
Survived by sons; Jason and Darrell (Holly), daughter; Linsey, grandchildren; CJ, Belle, Marsden, Thaddeus, Oliver, Willow, and Gabriel and brothers; Arvin and Veron. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; LaVar and Deloy, sisters; Deon Turner and Rolene Starr.
The viewing will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8pm at Lindquist Layton Mortuary 1867 N Fairfield Rd Layton, UT 84041.
The burial will be on Tuesday April 1, 2025, at noon at Fielding Memorial Cemetery 4602 S. Yellowstone Highway, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
