Also surviving are her children, Cassandra Downs of Canton, and Colton Downs of Canton; one brother, J. Garrett Weaver of Lewistown.
Preceding Lana in death, were her parents.
In her younger years she enjoyed showing sheep at local fairs and livestock shows, where she won Grand Champion at the Illinois State Fair Sheep Show. She was avid Chicago Bears fan, and worked the Cuba Head Start as a Teacher's aide.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2026 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory, where visitation will from 4:00 PM until the time of services. Stacy Tomich will officiate. Burial of ashes will take place in Shields Chapel Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Canton Special Olympics.
