Lance Ambrose Obituary
Passed away at West Coast General Hospital surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 38 years of age.
Predeceased by his grandmother (mom) Katie Sam; his mother Annabelle Dick; father Michael Ambrose; sisters Michelle Mark and Tanya Mark and brother Jerome Sam. He is survived by his beloved wife Ruby; son Daniel; daughters: Kathleen (Brenden), Chaeli, Corina and Robyn; pets Maggie and Snowbell; brothers: Johnathon Mark, Dwayne Ambrose and Alex Mark; sisters: Kathy Mark and Natalie Mark; as well as other family: Stan Sam, Ed Sam, Mary Duncan, Gloria Dennis, Grace Sam, Hugh Sam, Corina Beach and Paul Sam and numerous other relatives and many friends.
Lance was a dedicated family man who was also committed to helping children and youth throughout his career. He will be greatly missed.
Prayers will be offered at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Avenue. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 24th at the Port Alberni Athletic Hall located at the corner of Roger St. and Kendall Ave. A private interment will follow in Tseshaht Cemetery.
