Lance Scott Collins of Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was 53 years old. Lance was born on March 12, 1972, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Lloyd Collins and Loretta Leaym. He enjoyed the great outdoors and woodworking, but most of all he loved bow and arrow hunting deer. Lance loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Maemae, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his stepfather, Jack D. Leaym Jr. of Vassar; two brothers: Paul Collins of Saginaw; Josh Leaym of Vassar; two sisters: Lisa Rhode and Lynn (Mark) Littlejohn. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Leaym; father, Lloyd Collins; and a brother, Ladd Collins.
Honoring Lance’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at Cook Cemetery in Taymouth Township. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
