Lance Loriot

Lance Loriot, age 40, of South Bend, IN, passed away on July 7, 2024, in Mishawaka, IN. Born on September 21, 1983, to Mark David Loriot, who preceded him in death, and Mary (Kramer) Loriot.
Lance grew up in his hometown of South Bend with a close-knit family and later blessed the lives of his two sons, Jordan and Isaiah Loriot, with the same warmth and guidance he received.
A man of integrity and resilience, Lance was the beloved brother of Jamie Loriot of Mishawaka, half-brother to Kyle Knapp of Elkhart and John Knapp of Mishawaka, stepbrother to John Snyder of Granger, and Daniel Snyder of South Bend. His mother, Mary Loriot, and stepfather, David Allen Snyder, stood by his side with unwavering support through all of life's twists and turns, instilling in him the values of family and perseverance.
Lance's passions were clear: he was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Dallas Cowboys, his enthusiasm for both teams knew no bounds. He was a great friend to many but had a special bond with his sister Jamie, which will never be forgotten.
Known for his kind soul, Lance touched many lives far beyond his immediate circle. Working for the Center for the Homeless, his compassionate nature led him to help countless individuals on the streets, offering not just material aid but also hope and kindness. His heart of gold was matched by his prodigious work ethic; he tackled life's demands with a steadfast strength that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him.
There will be no services and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for the Homeless 813 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN 46601.
