Lance Newman Obituary
Lance Newman, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born in Farmington, New Mexico to Lynn Newman and Mildred Sherman.
Lance retired as a Maintenance Manager from Southern Packaging. He enjoyed fishing, boats, and cooking. Lance was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Steve Newman.
Lance is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Debbie Newman; his sons and daughters-in-law, Brian Newman and Kristen Kraus Newman, and Blake Newman and Jami Wheeler Newman and his grandchildren, Elliot Newman, Nolan Newman, and Olivia Newman.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, beginning at 5:30PM. The service will immediately follow at 6:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital in honor of his grandson, Nolan Newman.
