Landry Scott Bentley, 5, gained his angel wings, wrapped in love, and surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Though his time here was far too short, Landry filled every moment with joy, laughter, and the biggest, brightest smile that could light up any room. Landry was a little boy with a huge heart who adored monster trucks, giggled at silly jokes, and loved his family with every ounce of his being. Landry could often be found lining up his toy trucks in perfect rows or cheering loudly during monster truck shows, his eyes full of wonder and excitement.
Landry had a gift for making people feel loved and special just by being himself. He reminded all of us to slow down, hold each other a little tighter, and find happiness in the smallest things. His favorite color was black, his favorite snack was yogurt, and his favorite thing in the whole world was being with his people-laughing, snuggling mommy, and living life fully.
Landry is survived by his loving parents, Victoria and Ryan Bentley; his proud big brothers, Lincoln Bentley, and Lyles Bentley; grandparents, Richard and Sarah Bentley, Victor and Romelia Rivera; great grandparents, Bo and Irma Steding, Juan Mendoza; and numerous other family and friends who were lucky enough to know and love him.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2025 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Chaplain Loy Sweezy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
