Lara Lee "Lady" Moore, 92, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Lara was born on March 28, 1932, in the Strong Community of Monroe County, MS, she led a life characterized by love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Lady Moore was a cherished figure in her community, known for her warm spirit and nurturing heart. Over the years, she created a legacy of kindness and support that will continue to resonate in the lives of those she touched. Her laughter and compassion will be profoundly missed.
She is survived by her 2 devoted sons, Curtis Moore and Ronnie (Mazie) Moore; her 4 loving daughters, Bertha (Fredrick) Bowdry, Mary Alice Moore, Wilma (Willie) Bradley, and Debra Moore; as well as 1 brother, Frankie Moore; and 1 sister, Mary Jane Parks. The bond shared with her children and siblings was a source of joy for Lady, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.
Lady was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Henry Moore and Alice Williams, who instilled in her the values of hard work and family loyalty that shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129, Aberdeen, MS 39730. Following this, a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM, also at Belle Memorial Funeral Home.
Lady Moore's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to shine brightly for generations to come.
