Good morning, my sympathies go out to her sisters and brothers. We grew up on Derbigny St. between Andry and Choctaw. In that one block, there were enough kids to have a touch football and baseball team at the same time. The sounds of us kids laughing and playing was the sounds of family. The Robinsons, the Goines, and the Edinburghs, along with Miss Tinnies´ grandsons and my older cousin Manezso we were a crew. There was always a kitchen table that had a space for us. In times of crisis, there was always a place of safety in the neighborhood at any house on the block. In other words from Andry St. to Choctaw St. we were one extended family. Larisia was a diva early on with an attention to her appearance as all girls do. She always had a twinkle in her eye. You knew that once she had her mind set on something, she would be successful. My heart aches that I can´t be there in person to say I´ll see you in the future, but she already knows.
Written with tears, "Big brother" say be seeing you.
