In quiet moments, I remember... the sound of your voice, your laugh and the safety in your lap. Love you always Mom.

It has almost been a year and it feels as though it was yesterday. You are still in my thoughts daily. I feel comfort in knowing that you are out there somewhere caring about all who love you. Talking to you everyday has helped me remember all the wonderful and good memories we had together. Your forever loving daughter. I hope you have peace.

I wanted to express my gratitude for whoever sponsored this book to continue as a memorial for Mom. It helps to see how Mom affected each life differently. I miss her so much. This is my way to reach her as a place to honour her and feel some connection. I love her so much, I had no idea that I could hurt so much. I want her to know, how much she taught me and of the strength and perservance she examplified. Our lives have forever changed. My life is upside down as I search for only those things that are important and live my life so she would be proud of the good she gave me. Spring is here and I remember the walks up Nose Hill in Calgary every year to find the first crocus. Many simple were symbolic to Mom. She found strength in consistency. Those velvety purple flowers a consistency in the years we lived there. I have so many stories to tell about my Mom, and I will continue writing as my only way to capture her and keep her here. Please forgive my indulgence and accept my love for her in the only way I know how. I love you Mama...

My husband and I have been blessed in knowing Lark and Bob. We met them in White Rock shortly after joining the LDS church. She was a wonderful woman with a strong love for her family and God. Our prayers and thoughts to Bob, and family.
You will always be in our hearts.
Until we meet again

Nana,
I miss you so much and can't bear to live without you. I still can't believe your gone. I will never forget all the good times we had; walking to school together, going to the cafe and when you would come to my school and help hand out the pizzas on pizza day, and you would tell my class all these great stories you had. I remember when the first time I met you when I wasn't a baby, you gave me and chelsea a sand dollar, which I still have and has some left over sand in it. I know that you'll always be in my heart, and in my middle name. I will always remember the scent of your pale skin, and I can still hear your voice and laughter in my head. I remember your unique green eyes and that no one in your family had them, and I remember that I always wanted your eyes. I love you so much that I can't describe my love for you. Well guess this is goodbye. I love you. See you later alligator, after a while crocadile, see ya soon big baboon.

Nana, I miss you.
I'll never forget you, or the times we shared together. you'll never leave my heart. I never got to thank you for the wonderful days me and Sarah spent with you. Walking from school, to have a tea party at your house, or going to the nearest cafe to have a cup of steamed milk and cookies. I'll miss your unusual laugh, your soft skin, the two kisses you gave me on both cheeks, and the love you shared. You taught me to live life, and enjoy it...so i will. I love you with all my heart.

I've never had the chance to get to know you but I do remember some of you when I was young. I remember being on your boat when I was little and you made tuna and crackers for all us. You took good care of me. I love you and miss you Nana.

Auntie Lark was one of the most joyful, happy people that I have ever been fortunate enough to know. I'll never forget the memories with her and Uncle Bob, whether it was going out for the day on the boat or family events. I love you. Rest in peace.

Mom, I cannot express how much I miss you. I love you so much. I will remember your soft hands, the smell of lavendar and singing along with you in the car. Can't believe you're gone...forgive me, Mom... Carved forever in the palm of my hand.

It was truly our good fortune to have known Lark for the time we did. She will always be remembered and missed by her friends in the Edmonds Ward. She was an excellent
example to all of us. Lark is now in a place of never ending happiness. Thank you, Lark for the example you were to us. Your faimily and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Bob and Family,
I've just heard of your incredibly sad news. Although I didn't know Lark well, I did have the pleasure of meeting her at a few family gatherings. She seemed like a lovely person to me, and it was obvious how loved she was by all of the family. I am truly sorry for your loss.

There's an open gate at the end of the road through which each must go alone, and there in a light we cannot see our Father claims his own..Beyond the gate your loved one finds happiness and rest, and there is comfort in the thought that a Loving God knows best. May God, who calls our dear ones home and grants them peace and rest, Give you the strength and faith to say that He indeed knows best.
