Larry Lynn Ables, 54 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Born August 29, 1963 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Herbert Lynn Ables and Shirley Doris Burns Ables. Mr. Ables was a farmer. Funeral services for Mr. Ables will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. He is survived by three sons, Christopher Ables, Scotty Ables and Jason Ables of all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four daughters, Renita Ables of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Latosha Ables of Arizona, Amber Ables of Jacks Creek, Tennessee and Ashley Gladden of Tiptonville, Tennessee; his mother, Shirley Doris Burns Ables of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Timothy "Bo" Burns and Robert Ables both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Polly Chamberlain of Dyersburg, Tennessee; twenty four grandchildren and two great-grand children.
