Larry Arthur Alexander, 76, of Anderson, South Carolina, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, at AnMed Health Center.
Born on September 11, 1948, in Seneca, SC, Larry was the son of the late Arthur Alexander and Eunice Lillian Alexander. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served his country with honor. Following his service, Larry dedicated over 40 years of his life to his work as a lineman with Pike Electric, where he was respected for his tireless work ethic, steady hand, and deep knowledge of the trade.
Larry was a man of quiet strength, known for his loyalty to family and friends, his love for the outdoors, and his steadfast character. He was deeply devoted to his wife of many years, Janice Elaine Roach Alexander, and together they built a home grounded in love, faith, and resilience.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Elaine Roach Alexander; his three sons, Nicholas McCall (Sylvia), Joseph Alexander, and Aaron Alexander; and four cherished grandchildren: Ansley Alexander, Levi Alexander, Baylee Powell, and Jordan Wilson,.
A graveside service honoring Larry's life and legacy will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Alexander Cemetery, located on North Little River Road in Salem, SC.
Larry's life was one of service, hard work, and love. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
