Larry "Dog" Allen, 57, of Manchester, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 as a result of an auto accident. He was born May 10, 1968 in Grand Rapids, MI, son of the late Lawrence Wayne and Delilah Lee Bevis Allen.
Larry was a proud member of the IBA MC Club who found joy in riding his motorcycle and climbing trees to cut them down. He loved hunting and could often be found chatting on the phone, especially with his little sister-never letting a day pass without a conversation. Above all, Larry cherished his kids and grandbabies and held a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Freedom.
He is survived by his children, Tia (Jesse Hamm) Allen, Amanda (Charles) Blevins, Delilah (Tony) Biggs, Molly (Stephnie) Allen, Derek (Heather) Wilson, Joshua Mitchell, Craig (Emily) Wilson and Ashely Mitchell; grandchildren, Matt, Jaela, Leland, Carson, Cayden, Steven, Dalton, Trenton, Klayton, Kylie, Charlie, Jymma, Lexi, Zaydon, Hayley, Carter, Lyla, Hunter, Hollow, Avery, Little Derek, Payton, Paisley, Gregory and another one on the way; great-grandchild, Raiden and his baby sister, Missy (Marcos) Chandler; niece, Amber Allen as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 3:00 PM, until the time of the celebration service at 5:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester. Larry will be cremated afterwards.
Family suggests contributions be made to his online fundraiser on Wilson Funeral Home's Facebook page.
