Larry Barker Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Barker and Patricia Knox; his first wife, Georgia Barker; brothers-in-law, Bill Foster and Daryl Harris; and nephew, Anthony Harris.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Parrish Barker; his sons and daughters-in-law, Derek and Kandy Barker, and Doug Parrish and Rita Conway; daughter and son-in-law, Dina and Billy Green; sister, Marsha Harris; grandchildren, Amber (Derek) Dockery, Aaron (Alex) Barker, Shelby (Jake) Bush, and Tyler Parrish; and great grandchildren, Landon Richards, Aidan Brock, Margo Bush, and Levi Bush; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the service time at 11:00 AM.
The funeral will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Noel Caldwell officiating.
