Larry E. Bartkus, age 73, passed away June 11, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in Erie with his family by his side. He was born on September 30, 1950, in Meadville, PA to the late Hamilton and Beatrice Pearl Bortner.
Larry was a proud veteran of the U.S Air Force and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed games, audio books, old movies and anything that sparkled.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his husband, Timothy.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Pelc; granddaughters, Abigail Estrada and Madeline Pelc; great-grandchildren, Israel and Jackson Estrada; siblings Dixie Vance and Dan Bortner; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5 pm until the time of the service at 7 pm.
