Larry Bates Obituary
Mr. Bates was born on June 6, 1954, in Hope, AR., to Betty and Dan Bates.
In his younger years, he spent his working days as a carpenter. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and loving his cats and dogs.
Most importantly, Larry had re-established his relationship with God, and his family is blessed to know that he is now in the Lord's care.
Mr. Bates is preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Lisa Marie Bates and Cheryl Hayes, and two brothers, George Bates and Danny Wayne Bates.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Marshall Bates and wife Phyllis, Marjorie Carpenter and husband Kendall, Sharon "Red" Jester and husband Doug, and Betty Wisniewski and husband Mike; his sister-in-law Ronda McCool; special family members Jessica, Mia, and Slick; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
