Larry Eugene Blackshear, 75, of Walnut Ridge, passed from this life on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born on October 31, 1949, in Lawrence County to the late Earl "Gene" and Inez (Riggs) Blackshear. Larry was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from Frit Industries after many years. Larry enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his great-granddaughter, Salem, and his family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Inez Blackshear; a brother, Gary Blackshear; and a sister, Sandra Cummings.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Blackshear, of 48 years of the home; sons, Greg Blackshear of Pocahontas, and Shaun (Shelley) Blackshear of Walnut Ridge; one step-daughter, Christie (Bobby) Bunch of Virginia; Sisters, Sharon Cummings of St. Charles, Missouri, Carolyn Lawson, and Shelia (Sid) Phillips both of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Mollie (Blaine) Wade of Trumann, Nolan Blackshear of Walnut Ridge, Ellie Bunch and Luke Bunch of Virginia; and one great-granddaughter, Salem Wade of Trumann; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services immediately following at 1 p.m. Bro. Richard Combs will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are James Allen Ward, Joe Turner, Ricky Ditto, Chad Ditto, Brett Ditto, and Kerry Tribble.

Honorary pallbearers are Danny Stormes and Sid Phillips.
