Larry Bledsoe, Jr. Obituary
Larry David Bledsoe, Jr, age 54 of Maryville, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at his home.
Larry retired as an engineer from the Alcoa Fire Department where he served for 25 years. He was as Christian that loved animals and helped with local animal rescue organizations. He especially loved his 2 labs, Whiskey and Brandi, as well as his cats, Smokey, Bandit, Charley, and Bageera.
Larry is survived by his wife of one and half years Michelle Bledsoe, mother Linda Wilhite, father and step-mother Larry David Bledsoe, Sr. (Trudy), and mother-in-law Claudia Hundley
He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard Alan Bledsoe and Tyler Clinton Bledsoe.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Saturday, December 27, 2025 with a Celebration of Life service to immediately follow in the Trinity Chapel at Smith Funeral and Cremation.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Larry’s honor to area animal shelters.
