Larry Steven Blizzard, 79, of Finksburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Futurecare Cherrywood in Reisterstown.
Born September 1, 1945 in Finksburg he was the son of George and Clidine (Wagner) Blizzard. He was the cherished husband of Patricia Blizzard, his devoted wife of 7 years.
Larry was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a longtime employee for Black & Decker, where he operated machinery. He was a member of Patapsco United Methodist Church, Westminster VFW Post #467, American Legion Carroll Post #31, Westminster Moose Family Center #1381, and a former member of the Littlestown Eagles Post #2226. He enjoyed camping with his wife every weekend in Falling Waters, WV.
Surviving in addition to his wife are stepsons James E. Gamber of Littlestown, PA and Joseph H. Gamber, III and his partner Karen Kortises of Westminster; granddaughter Emily Gamber; brothers Gordon and Roland Blizzard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings Edward Blizzard, Russell Blizzard, Melvin Blizzard, Joan Harbaugh, Sylvia Larrimore, Wilson Blizzard, and Doug Blizzard.
The family will welcome friends on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be Monday, February 17th at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Patapsco Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to BridgingLife Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
