Claude Burdette

Claude Michael "Mike" Burdette, 82, of Westminster, MD, passed away on January 31, 2026 at BridgingLife- Dove House. Born on June 1, 1943 in Damascus, MD, Mike was the son of the late Claude Edward and Majorie Rebecca (McElfresh) Burdette. He is also predeceased by siblings, Clifford Warren Burdette, Donald Edward Burdette, and Hazel Mae Hoyle. Mike was a 1962 graduate of Damascus High School. He spent his career as an auto part manager for Burdette Brothers in Hyattstown, MD. Mike was a member of the Damascus Methodist Church for many years. He thoroughly enjoyed playing Golf, traveling, and spending time at Lake Anna and the beach. Most of all, Mike enjoyed spending time with his family. Mike is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eunice Elaine Burdette; son, Kevin Michael Burdette and significant other, Kiersten Durst; grandchildren, Brittany Michelle Coon and husband, Cody and Bradley Michael Burdette; and sister, Grace Rebecca Snapp. The family will welcome friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 11 to 12 at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD. A funeral service will follow beginning at 12:00pm with Pastor Marty Kuchma officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's UCC Cemetery, Silver Run, MD.
