Phyllis M. Burdette, Worth Twp., Stoneboro, Pa. passed away on Thursday (2-12-26) in AHN Grove City. She was 91.
Born May 7, 1934 in Jackson Twp., Mercer County, she was a daughter of David H. and Margaret Mae McAnallen Greggs. She was one of eleven children, and was the last surviving sibling.
Phyllis had been a member of the Irwin Presbyterian Church.
She worked as a caregiver for many years and assisted many families in caring for their loved ones.
Most of all she was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Family was a high priority to Phyllis and she loved family gatherings and get-togethers which she helped organize many over the years.
Phyllis loved playing Yahtzee with her husband, Ron, and also with family.
She married Ronald A. Burdette on September 5, 1959 and he passed away on August 17, 2020.
She is survived by her four children: Ronald Burdette, Stoneboro, Gloria Grills, Medina, Ohio, Mark Burdette, Stoneboro and Keith (Gina) Burdette, Warrenton, Virginia; four grandchildren: Adrian, Matthew (Tina), Noelle and Spencer and six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Phyllis was also survived by three sisters-in-law, Betty Greggs, of Stoneboro, Betty Greggs and Margaret Greggs, both of Grove City, Pa, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, a son-in-law, Timothy Grills, a daughter-in-law, Gale Burdette, seven brothers, three sisters and three nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 99 Franklin Streeet, Stoneboro where family and friends are welcome on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 3-7 PM. A funeral service will take place following visitation on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Jennifer Bass, Officiating.
Interment will take place at Crestview Memorial Park.
