Larry Boeling Obituary
Larry was born on August 16, 1959 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Gerald and Shirley (nee Gastmeier). Larry attended St. Peter Lutheran School Macomb and was a 1977 graduate of Eisenhower High School. He continued his education at Oakland University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1981. On June 4, 1994, Larry married Robin Venen at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Macomb Township. They have shared 31 wonderful years together, raising their two sons and making many treasured memories. Larry worked in the technological field for over 40 years, starting at GM in 1981 and continuing with the organization through its many iterations, finally working with DXC. He was an usher and recording secretary for St. Peter Lutheran Church, Macomb for nearly 40 years from 1983 to the early 2020's. Larry enjoyed classic cars, gardening and his feline friends. In his younger years, he was very involved with 4-H. Above everything in his life, Larry loved to serve God; spend time with his family and being a grandpa. Larry will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
Larry is survived by his wife, Robin; sons, Aaron (Katelynn) Boeling and Tim (Samantha) Boeling; grandson, Sutton Boeling; sister, Carol Abramczyk; nieces, Michelle (Ryan) Coopmans and Emily Abramczyk; former brother-in-law, Bill Abramczyk; and many extended family and friends. Larry is preceded in death by his aunts, Barbara Rowell and Evelyn Miller; uncles, Leonard Gastmeier and Kenneth Boeling and his parents.
Visitation for Larry will be Friday, November 14, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hauss-Modetz Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with an instate time of 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 17051 24 Mile Road, Macomb. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Macomb.
Memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Peter Lutheran Church – Organ Fund.

Our sincerest prayers go out to Robin, Aaron and Tim. We have had the privilege of being Larry´s neighbor for almost 35 years. We have always known him to be a warm, friendly and kind person. He always had a smile on his face when we saw one another. Quick to laugh and always interested in what you had to say. Life won´t quite be the same without him. Rest in peace Larry. First off I wanted to say how much I enjoyed chatting with Larry and working with him these many years. He was such a nice gentleman and wonderful individual. He was such a tremendous person. He will be missed.

I´m truly sorry to hear that Larry has passed at such a young age. He will be missed, he was such an incredible person/soul.
Some of my best childhood memories were Trick or Treating with you as kids. But he was always so sweet, so kind and just a huge heart.
