Henderson - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Henderson Bible Church Cemetery for Larry "Pop" Boudreaux, 80, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at his residence.
A visitation will take place at Henderson Bible Church on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM.
Pastor Sherman Soileau will officiate at the funeral service. Burial will follow at Henderson Bible Church Cemetery.
Larry Joseph Boudreaux, affectionately called "Pop" was born on September 1, 1945, in St. Martin Parish. A beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, Larry lived a life rich with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
He was known for his love of fishing as he worked as a commercial fisherman for 60+ years. Larry enjoyed listening to music loud, sipping on his "lil ponies," playing cards, watching old westerns and comedies. He always cherished dancing with his wife, "Mom" and his daughters on special occasions such as graduations and weddings. He loved spending time with his family, drinking coffee, walking on the levee, and taking in the beautiful outdoor views. Larry was an active member of his community and attended Henderson Bible Church, where he enjoyed warm visits with his church family. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children, Robert Boudreaux (Jolene), Darlene Courville (Buddy), Miranda Snyder, Charrie Angelle (Ricky), and Kayla Boudreaux (Monte); ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and siblings, Jimmy Boudreaux, Johnny Boudreaux, Patrick Boudreaux, Helen Boudreaux and Anna Geisendorff.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia "Mom" McGee" Boudreaux; parents, Mayer and Lena Johnson Boudreaux; son, Timothy Boudreaux; and siblings, Michael Boudreaux, Ruby Segura, Ann Marie Fancher, Wesley Boudreaux, Al Boudreaux, Adley Boudreaux, Thelma Boudreaux, and Cecile Boudreaux.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Boudreaux, Gavin Meche, Logan Angelle, Dillon Courville, Robbie Boudreaux, and Jonah Boudreaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Courville, Jana Boudreaux, Meghan Roberie, Jasa Snyder, and Mitchell Meche.
