Larry Stenson Bratton, age 75, left his earthly home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2022. Larry was a wonderful loving husband of 57 years to his wife, Virginia, proud and loving Dad to Jason Bratton and wife Nicole, Chad Bratton and wife, Natalie and devoted Papaw to Alayna, Willow, and Scout, and dearest brother to Darla Cross and husband, Eddie. He is loved and remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.

He was an avid fisherman and loved camping at the lake. He had many hobbies and interests. Fishing, camping, photography, traveling, woodworking, reading and learning about history, especially about military leaders and heroes. His biggest and most important past time was spending time with those he loved. They shared many travels and adventures together.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, stationed in Okinawa for 18 months. He was a dedicated soldier for his duration of time and discharged with the rank of Sergeant. His Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) was in Transportation and his entire civilian working career continued in this field, retiring from FedEx in 2006. The military also afforded him the opportunity to gain his private pilot's license.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Jean Bratton, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Warren G. and Dormilee Bogle, four brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law.

Larry was a strong believer and loved God. He lived his life with honesty and integrity and was a wonderful example of character to others. He was a devoted family man and their happiness and well being were always his priority. Because of his sincere and warm personality, everyone who ever met him remembered him. He will always be remembered and loved.
