Larry Breisacher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by First Cremation Society on Dec. 26, 2024.
Larry Charles Breisacher, 85, passed away on December 20, 2024 at Durham VA.
Larry was born on June 15, 1939 to the late Harold and Emma Holtcamp Breisacher.
Larry is survived by his wife, Lynette Drabik Breisacher ; his daughters, Sue Cranfill (Dave) and Kim Catlett (Jeff) ; grandsons, Kyle Cranfill, Cody Catlett, and Dylan Catlett; his granddaughter, Brandi Cranfill; his great-grandson, Maddax Jarrett; several nieces and a nephew, numerous good friends and his American Legion family.
Larry served honorably in the Army and was a member of American Legion Post 90 in Oxford where he had served as an officer.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there as well as in Ohio and Indiana before moving to North Carolina in 1985 to continue his care in restaurant management. In his younger years he was in an avid bowler and his interest in sports made him a die-hard Duke basketball and Yankee fan. Larry could (and did) talk to everyone, including wrong numbers. He considered everyone a friend and would do anything he could to help. He truly lived a life of following the golden rule.
In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by his first wife Lucy Drabik Breisacher, his sister Kathleen, and his brother Harold, as well as his nephew Greg Allen.
