Larry Brown Obituary
Larry Gregory "Greg" Brown, 67, of Leesburg, GA died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesburg Cemetery.
Born in Sycamore, GA, Greg moved to Leesburg, Ga at a young age. He attended Lee County Georgia Public Schools and retired from, Water, Gas and Light in Albany, GA after twenty three years of service. He farmed with Steve Stocks during his career and after that with Zack Thaggard Farms. He was of the Baptist faith.
He loved his wife, son, grandchildren and family more than life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Hullet Brown and Ruth Venetia Pilkinton, father and mother in law, E. B. Eubanks and Elizabeth "Nana" Eubanks.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Eubanks Brown, son, Jamie Brown and his wife Maggie, brother, Jeff Brown all of Leesburg, GA, sister, Karen Pierce, Gulf Port, MS and his grandchildren, Parker Brown, Weston Brown and Harper Brown and several special nieces and nephews all of Leesburg, GA.
The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Mathews Funeral Home.
