Larry D. Burbrink, 77, of Columbus passed from this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 7:52 p.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Larry was born on October 18, 1944, in Columbus the youngest of 7 boys to Elmer and Irma Meyer Burbrink. On November 26, 1966, in Columbus he married Charlene Mires.
Mr. Burbrink was a lifelong farmer and very proactive in the farming community. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and Indiana Farm Bureau; he also served on numerous boards in the community. He had a tremendous love for flying, going to air shows. He enjoyed flying over his farms fields and flying with his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Charlene Burbrink of Columbus; children, Nathan D. (Joanne) Burbrink of North Vernon and Teresa E. Burbrink of Columbus; grandchildren, Amy (Tyler) Waite, Ryan Burbrink, Luke Burbrink, and Kate Burbrink; brother, Lester Burbrink; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alvin, Marvin, Harlan, Lynn, Leonard; and a granddaughter, Lily Streeval.
In keeping with Mr. Burbrink's wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Carter officiating.

Family and friends may call for visitation from 2:30 p.m. till time of service at the church.
Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to the Love Chapel or Orphan Grain Train.
