Larry Busch Obituary

Larry "Butch" Busch, left this world on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 28, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the cherished son of the late Raymond and Mildred (Nash) Busch.

Butch's legacy lives on through his devoted family, including his children: Neil (Tina) Layne, Amber Busch, Autumn (Tim Armstrong) Busch, and Amanda Busch. He was a proud grandfather to Meghan, Alex, Austin, Jasmine, Bryce, Blayn, Aiden, and Duke, and his great-grandchildren, Emmarie and Azrael. Butch is also survived by his sister, Donna (Joe) Busch-Spahl, and his niece, Tiffany (Bobby) Nally.

A true family man, Butch demonstrated unwavering loyalty and understanding to those he loved. He was not just a father; he was a guiding presence, often referred to as "Pop Pop" by his grandchildren. His willingness to lend a helping hand exemplified his nurturing spirit and deep connection to his family.

Butch had an adventurous soul, with a passion for the open road as a dedicated truck driver. In his younger years, he channeled his creativity and love for speed into building race cars, a testament to his zest for life.

Friends and family are invited to gather in memory of Butch from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 15th, at Newcomer Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A heartfelt service celebrating his life will follow at 4:00 pm.

In this time of remembrance, we encourage all those whose lives Butch touched to share a memory or a special message for his family in the guestbook below. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
