CASSVILLE – Nicholas J. “Nick” Busch, age 31, of Cassville, Wisconsin, passed away tragically on February 20, 2026, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born July 8, 1994, the son of Samuel and Kelly (Langmeier) Busch. Nick graduated from Cuba City High School. He furthered his education at Southwest Technical College, earning a Journeyman Electrician. After school he worked for Schmitz Plumbing Heating & Electrical and McNett Electric. On July 18, 2020, he married the love of his life, Jenna Friesen, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Cuba City.
Nick was known for his big heart, steady hands, and the kind of work ethic that only comes from a true love of the land. Farming wasn’t just his livelihood - it was his passion. He found peace in open fields, early mornings, and the satisfaction of a long day’s work.
What truly set Nick apart was his natural instinct to help others. Whether it was a neighbor in need, a friend going through a hard time, or a stranger who crossed his path, he never hesitated to lend a hand. His generosity and loyalty were felt by everyone lucky enough to know him.
Outside of work, he cherished time spent with his family, who meant everything to him. He loved the simple things - good company, laughter, and sitting back after a long day with a cold beer or a pour of Kessler in hand.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and the way he made people feel cared for. His absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled, but his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched.
Nick is survived by his loving wife, Jenna; beautiful children: Eleanor and Tyson; his mother, Kelly (Jeff) Landon; mother and father-in-law, Mark and Pat Friesen; brother, Alex; sister, Maddi (Briar) Shilliam; step-siblings: Tyler (Rachel) and Trevor (Kaitlin) Landon, sister-in-law, Jill (Bradley) Cobb; nieces and nephews: Estella, Carson and Olivia; grandparents: Joyce and Sylvester Langmeier, and Myrt Busch; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Busch; grandpa, Bob Busch; and uncles: Greg and Steve Busch.
A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Cuba City. A Celebration of Life will be held after the burial at J&J’s Sandbar in Cassville starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to support Nick’s children and their future. Kramer-Grau Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
