Larry Lynn Christensen passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to his family. He was born on March 23, 1942, in Helper/Price, Utah, to Phyllis and Allen Christensen.
Larry married the love of his life, Patricia Ellen Christensen, and together they shared 60 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they raised three sons and one daughter, who were the pride and joy of their lives.
He is survived by his children: Rick Christensen (Karen), Russell Christensen (Trudy), Rod Christensen, and Lynnel Risk (Eric); his grandchildren: Heather & Monte, ShaKara, Skylar & Nicole, Arianna, Jennica & Jordan, Payton, Paige & Chevey, Madison, and Lanee; and nine beloved great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ellen Christensen; his parents, Phyllis and Allen Christensen; his brothers, Jack and Kent Christensen; and his in-laws, Wallace & Pearl Wilding.
He worked for Bountiful City for 20 years, raising his family with dedication and quiet strength. Larry loved the outdoors and treasured the time spent teaching his children and grandchildren how to fish and hunt, and how to enjoy life’s simple moments.
Those who knew Larry remember his kindness, gentle humor, and generous heart. Even through physical pain, he brought joy and laughter to others and faced life with quiet courage and grace. He loved music, often saying “Thank you for the music,” a sentiment his family now carries forward as a reminder of his warmth and love.
Immediate family will hold a small service celebrating his life on May 26, 2026, where he will be laid to rest beside the love of his life, Patricia Christensen, surrounded by the family he cherished above all.
Larry will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
