Cogan, Larry

LARRY M. COGAN, 84, of Tremont City, passed away on August 19, 2025. He was born on July 12, 1941, in Greenfield, Ohio to his parents Shelby and Bessie (Copley) Cogan.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Army and served for several dedicated years. Following his time in the military, Larry worked for over 35 years at Navistar, where he eventually retired from. When he wasn't working, you could always find Larry cheering on his favorite team: The Ohio State Buckeyes. Larry also always looked forward to his daily game of Wordle and loved playing various game on his iPad. Above all, he loved spending time with his friends and family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his children Chuck (Sherry) Cogan and Dawn (Dan) Stidham, and his grandchildren Tyra Cogan (Kelvin Pearson), Sarah (Thomas) Loman, Olivia Stidham and Ronnin Einhaus, and Dana Stidham, numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved dog Izzie. Larry is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Cogan and eight siblings.
