Larry Wayne Cogar

Larry Wayne Cogar, age 78, formerly of Freeport, Ohio passed away October 20, 2022. He was born in Greenwood, West Virginia on July 13, 1944 to the late Wilford and Gaynell (Fletcher) Cogar.
He was most known for L & E Auto Collision, which he owned and operated. Larry later retired from Honda Motors in 2004. He and his wife Aris enjoyed donating to many charities including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. They also enjoyed traveling in their camper with their late dog, Nina, and spending time with their family.
Larry is survived by his wife Aris S. Cogar; two sons: Kevin (Josephine) Cogar and Eric (Kim) Cogar; five grandchildren: Seka Cogar, Zackery Cogar, Derick Cogar, Cody (Victoria) Cogar, and Tia (Christopher) Cogar; one great-grandchild, Isabella Irwin; three brothers: Gene Cogar, Gale Cogar, and Raymond Cogar. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday October 29, 2022 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S. High Street, Freeport. After a two hour break, a graveside service and burial will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport with Ross Ciraci officiating.
