Shirley Cogar Obituary
Born on October 22, 1947, in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Oli M. Cogar and Mabel Minnie Bennet Cogar.
Shirley was known for her kind and gentle spirit throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers; Harold, Gerald, Timmy and Cork Cogar as well as one nephew, Thomas J. 'TJ' Tyler.
Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Shirley's warmth and compassion touched many, leaving a lasting impression on those she encountered. She will be remembered fondly and celebrated as a beloved member of her community.
Left to cherish her memory include her brother and caregiver James E. (Linda) Cogar, nephews; Bobby (Rhonda) Cogar, James (Theresa) Cogar, James E. Cogar II,, nieces, Chrystal M. (Jack) Higgins, and Rhonda (Ron).
There will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville Ohio 43950.
