On behalf of everyone at the Illinois Crop Improvement Association out deepest sympathies for the family and friends of Larry Coldwater. I sampled seed for testing many times for Larry in years past. He was a great seedsman and will be dearly missed. -Doug Miller, CEO.

Farming

Larry I could always remember the look on your face when my boss kept sending me to get bags of seed from you. Yet when I came back only about an hour later to get more seed, you had that smile on your face. Could not have farmed without your seeds. Thank you Larry. The whole farming community I gonna miss you. Now you can farm in heaven with your parents. R.I.P.

Larry and his family are icons of the Jackson Township farming community. My family and the community have always held the Coldwater family in high esteem. We played together on their farm when we were both kids and have always remained close friends. I remember his parents and grandparents. He loved his wife, his children, and farming. The community has lost a good man and experienced the passing of a Jackson Township agricultural icon. Rest in peace, my friend. My sincere condolences to his family.
